Tap the item, then tap everyone who shared it. Tally divides it evenly among them, to the cent, and shows "Split N ways."
Tap "Scan receipt" and point your camera at the bill. Text is read on your device — nothing is uploaded. Then check the items and assign them. The first few scans are free; Tally Pro unlocks unlimited scanning.
By each person's share of the bill — proportional, never a flat even split — so nobody overpays. The per-person totals always add up to the exact grand total.
Open the item and tap "Split into N separate items." Each unit becomes its own line you can assign individually.
