Tally is built so your information stays with you. We designed it to work without an account, without a server, and without collecting your data.
Nothing. Tally has no sign-up and no account. Your bills, the people you add, items, tips, and totals are stored only in the Tally app on your device. We never see them.
When you scan a receipt, the text is recognized entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device machine learning (Google ML Kit). The photo is processed locally and is never uploaded to us or anyone else, and we do not store it.
Tally Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. To unlock and restore your purchase, we use RevenueCat, which receives anonymized purchase information — a random app-user identifier and your App Store transaction. It never receives your name, email, or the contents of your bills.
None. Tally contains no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Any backup you export is a plain file that you choose where to save. It stays under your control; we never receive it.
Tally is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone.
